Arts Administration

The Master of Fine Arts (M.F.A.) in Arts Administration is offered through the Department of Dramatic Arts. The degree requires a minimum of 60 credits, and is designed to be completed in three years. The program is highly individualized and divided into two main parts; the core curriculum, which all M.F.A. students are required to take, and advanced research and training in each student’s chosen area of expertise within the general field of Arts Administration. Examples of areas of specialization include: Fundraising and Development, Marketing, General Management, Labor Relations, Executive Leadership, Strategic Planning, Strategic Partnerships, Community Engagement, Advocacy, and Budgeting and Finance.

Core Requirements: DRAM 5110, 5111, 5112, 5113, 5114, 5115, 5116, 5117, 5118, 5120, 5121, 5122, 5123; FINA 3710; PP 5328; and six credits of electives.
