Investigation and discussion of special topics in finance, risk and insurance and/or real estate and urban economic studies.

In the course, we will focus on evaluating investment opportunities based on the present value of future cash flows and IRR. We will also discuss the nature of risks inherent in commercial real estate transactions as well as the challenges and obstacles faced in getting to a successful closing.
