5376. Language Impairments and Literacy

3.00 credits

Prerequisites: Open to grad students, others with instr. consent. Recommended prep: course in normal language development and disorders in preschool and school-age children. Not open for credit to students who have passed SLHS 4376.

Grading Basis: Graded

A research seminar covering the theories, assessment, and treatment of children with reading disabilities from a language-based perspective.
