Examines major approaches used in conducting qualitative research and the application of these methods to problems and phenomena in healthcare and athletic training. Emphasizes the developmental process prior to collection, collection, management, analysis, and interpretation of qualitative data. Exploration and application of topics such as sampling, interviewing and observation techniques, data analysis methods, and reporting of qualitative research. Examines evaluation and critique of research studies utilizing qualitative methods.
